What is the Academy?
Today I want to talk to you about what the Academy is and what it can do for you.
Whether you’re new here or have been here for a while, I’m sure you already know that I have an Academy. But what exactly is the Academy?
It is a monthly, quarterly or biannual subscription where you can access all my video tutorials with templates. There are currently over 100 and counting.
It works like any TV platform. Once you are a member you can access all the content while you are subscribed. That is, you can see the more than 100 video tutorials and use the 100 templates that are available.
Sometimes I like to compare it to Netflix. Imagine that it was the Netflix of fondant. You go in, decide which tutorial you want to see today and see the step by step of that figure. And tomorrow? Well, you see another figure. And when you’re tired of watching tutorials, you unsubscribe.
Who is the Academy for?
This format is designed so that you can see the tutorial you need at any time and avoid you to buy numerous courses.
So if you’re learning to make figures, it’s great, because you can see many different tutorials and make the one that you like the most. You learn at your own pace and when you want and with the possibility of asking me your questions.
It is also great for pastry chefs who carry out many orders. It saves you time and effort, you just have to follow the tutorial. Forget hours of modeling thinking about how to make a figure. You will be able to carry out many more orders in less time. They are all advantages.
It is also a very good option to earn extra income every month. If you don’t make desserts, but you want to save time for those cake makers… this is your place! You will be able to make many figures in less time and sell them to the cakers who do not have knowledge about figures.
There are so many options!
Also, within the Academy, there are not only courses or tutorials on fondant figures. But there are other very interesting courses for you to train in every way.
For example, you have courses on the different types of glue, on the different ways of making hands, how to use the cmc… and as a novelty there is a business section.
A business section?
That’s it. I know you have many doubts when you want to start a business and that is why I decided to create a section where I can help you with some questions that are repeated very often.
For example, there is a guide with exercises for you to learn how to charge your fondant figures and you can charge faster, taking into account the costs and the time it takes you to make the figures.
Another course that you can find in this section is about Canva. Canva is a free tool where you can create many designs or templates or even edit your images. In this course I will teach you how to use it at a basic level so that you learn to handle it without fear.
And finally, editable Canva templates, in order to save you time in your business. I have created some designs for you to use in your day to day as thank you or contact cards.
In the coming months I will try to include courses that are related to how to take photos of your products and how to edit them to make them look attractive
When does it start and when does it end?
Start and finish when you want. It’s like Netflix, the content is always in the Academy and it is updated. It will start the day you want to sign up and end when you want to leave. You set the date.
I know sometimes you miss to have access to the courses forever, but experience tells me that the more time we have to do something… we don’t do it! In this way, you will force yourself to practice and learn as soon as possible.
